Latinos by the Numbers- Stats and Projections

$1.7 Trillion in purchasing power, no that is not a typo.. Latinos will have an enormous impact on the U.S. Economy for decades to come and the only people that are really paying attention are big brands! Latinos are what you call “A sleeping GIANT”, they just don’t know it yet. We here at InstaClicks.NET have studied the U.S. Census and stay up to date with many other resources of statistics and data such as Pew Research Center, Bloomberg and even HubSpot Research. All of the data we’ve acquired has told us one major thing: Latinos are growing fast and are more educated than ever! So here is one Latino sharing some quick knowledge for you.

Latinos are the Second Fastest Growing Demographic Group in the U.S.-

In 2017, the Census Bureau projected that by 2060, Latinos will comprise about 28% of the total population, with 111.2 million Latino individuals living inside the United States. Not only are we growing in numbers, but only a little over a third of Latinos were born outside of the United States, a number that is lower than its peak of nearly 40% in 2000! This connects with the fact that immigration to the United States from countries such as Mexico is declining, a trend which, if it grows more, will have a huge impact on the way brands will reach Latino consumers. This means most Latinos will dislike the way they’re currently being advertised and will seek brands that are connecting with them in a more modern way.

About 41 Million U.S. Residents, or 13.4% of the U.S Population, Speak Spanish at Home-

A study in 2015 by Instituto Cervantes showed that roughly 53 million people, 41 million native Spanish speakers, and approximately 11.6 million bilingual Spanish Speakers live in the United States. And get this, by 2050, the U.S. is expected to have 138 million Spanish speakers. That would make our country the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world! Could you imagine that? I definitely can because studies now have shown that Spanish is the most common non-English language spoken in the United States.

There are Around 5 million Latino-owned Businesses in the United States-

Wow right! But did you know that only 3% of these businesses make over +1 million dollars in revenue? This is why our team and I are so passionate about not only helping all Small Businesses but especially Latino Owned businesses. Many Latino Small Businesses just don’t know how to scale or how to use technology to advance their business. So what were trying to do herer at InstaClicks.NET is to educate our clients with technology and a collection of data, statistics, and projections of their local communities. Using these tools and informtation will help our local small business owners scale their businesses and take a bigger slice of their market share.

What we noticed is that Latinos are growing in numbers, most of our Latino population will be under the age of 29, but are limiting their capacities and not maximizing on their potential and talents. We’ve taken in a lot of this collective information and data from the Census and other resources and have concluded that our Mission has evolved. We will plan to create an incubator for not just Local Small Business owners but also for our Latino Youth so that they seek higher education and create goals and a path to success.
